Well the weather’s getting warmer with summer in full swing! So for this month’s recipe we’re gonna show you how to make a delicious and refreshing iced coffee. While there are many iced coffee recipes, there are two main types. There is cold brewed coffee which yields a different flavor and it goes without saying that it does not require cooling. The other type is brewing the coffee hot and cooling it afterwards, either in the fridge or by pouring it over ice or in cold milk.
From hot to iced coffee
For this iced coffee recipe we will be using the second type. If you have an espresso maker at home we recommend using it for this one as it cools faster on the ice. If not you should brew your coffee ahead of time and chill it in the fridge for about an hour or two. Another option is to brew your coffee the night before so it reaches room temperature overnight. Either way we recommend using fresh beans to make this whole process all the more worthwhile. You can make coffee better than your typical coffee shop this way! And don’t forget to chill your milk as well!
