Olman Aguileras’ coffee farm in Costa Rica, El Mirador includes 15 hectares of farm land on an elevation of around 1400m above sea level. Aguileras cultivates the varieties Villa Sarchi and Catuai and uses the natural preparation process to allow for spectacular aroma profiles.
Costa Rica contributes one percent to the global coffee production, however, is well-known for its high quality coffees. This microlot’s individual characteristics include citrus and blue berry notes as well as a balanced caramel sweetness. It kind of resembles a good glass of red wine.
